they do the best they can. Some of these reviewers should try a stint in an nhs ward and maybe they won't be so quick to complain

The London Clinic

20 Devonshire Pl, Marylebone, London W1G 6BW, UK – 020 7935 4444

I myself can confirm that I am not sure where these bad reviews are coming from. My surgery was delayed by two hours, but it was made clear on my submission form that they could not guarantee to be on time due to surgeries taking place before mine. I wanted to thank all the nurses that looked after me following a surgery yesterday, especially and personally to Rosalind (Rose) and to Filipa. They were very caring and Rose checked on me the whole time as I experienced a lot of pain and she really comforted me. This bedside manner isn't something you get anymore in the UK... Thank you!!!

I was depressed to read the negative reviews of the London Clinic before my admission for surgery this week. They did nothing to ease my existing trepidation about undergoing a delicate operation on my eye. For that reason I want, in the clearest possible terms, to allay any nervousness that others may have who are about to become London Clinic patients. My experience could not have been more different to those of the critics. In fact I find it hard to credit that they were describing the same hospital. Without exception, I found the staff considerate, caring, humorous, reassuring and thoroughly professional. For me, the London Clinic represents standards of health care at their most excellent. I thought the place outstanding. I was very impressed, very relieved and very grateful.

The new NHS website below is very well worth a look. Hospitals are not only listed but evaluated. I certainly know which ones I would go to! At the very least you will know what questions to ask if you are sent to one which has not entered its data. Good luck!
